BUSY April 2011

Hey everyone, it's Hoagie.
Boy have my mom and dad been busy this month! Orders are piling in and 3 new products are hitting the shelves!!! On top of all that they just found out that Lazy Dogs' Happy Birthday Pup-PIE was chosen for a second year in a row as a sofi Silver Finalist!!!!! On its way to a second gold!!!!!!

I require at least 12 hours of ball time people, why do they have to work? Can't they just stay outside and throw the ball to me all day. That wouldn't be so bad would it?

Hoagie signing off...I think I hear the garage door opening...it's ball time!!!!!

Beneficial Lazy Dog Pup-PIE Toppings!

Hi it's Stu again.

I wanted to tell everyone about the whisker wowin' benefits of the freeze dried Roma Tomatoes on top of our Deep Dish Pizza Pup-PIE! The only thing I love more than bananas is tomatoes, I prefer the santa sweet grape variety. They are like my planet dog ball but smaller and juicier!!

There are many reasons why the tomato is a healthy vegetable. But the main attribute is that they contain carotenoids, a family of pigments found in yellow, orange, and red vegetables and in green leafy vegetables. There are over six hundred carotenoids, but the predominant one in tomatoes is lycopene, a pigment that gives tomatoes their red color. The body cannot manufacture Lycopene or other carotenoids. Some studies have offered evidence that foods rich in antioxidants and carotenoids may play a role in preventing certain types of cancer

Now you must be starting to realize that behind all this gorgeous scruff lies a very intelligent dog! Now onto a another pressing issue......I'm off to find a tomato!!!!

Until next time,
Stu

Beneficial Lazy Dog Pup-PIE Toppings!

Hi it's Stu.

I wanted to tell everyone about the beard bustin' benefits of the freeze dried bananas on top of our Banana Nut Brownie Pup-PIE! I love bananas, actually I'm bananas for bananas. If I had a banana right now I wouldn't be writing this, but sadly I do not so here it goes......

Bananas are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin B6 and they are a good source of fiber, Vitamin C, Magnesium and Potassium. Bananas also contain all 8 essential amino acids.
So because of all these great properties bananas help defend against infection, help the immune system, aid in hydration and help with sysnthesis of connective tissue among other awesome functions.

You didn't think a dog could be this smart, huh? Well I want to stay as healthy as I can to be able to play as much ball with my dad as possible!
Now onto a much more pressing issue......I'm off to find a banana!!!!

Later,
Stu

What's new Stu? 2011 Lazy Dog Treats!

Hey there it's Stu.....
It's been a long winter, but my dad has been snowblowing our whole yard so I didn't miss any ball time. He is grrrreat! Just thought I would let everyone know that my mom and dad are coming out with a new product line and a new flavor of Pup-Squeaks. I have tasted them and they are scrumptious. Keep a look out for them early this spring. Until then we are keeping them a closely guarded secret...even a Planet Dog ball couldn't get me to talk!!!!!!!
